Product Features

Famous for detailed design and product quiality, Butler Specialty is a family-owned company, manufacturing and marketing accent furniture and home décor since 1930. Butler is well known for its diversity of product design, superior and exotic materials, and quality wood products, both traditional and contemporary. A beautiful secretary constructed by skilled cabinetmakers, this piece is adapted from a Fall Front Desk, found in the Smithsonian’s Castle Collection. Its clean lines provide a simple elegance, reflecting the details and design of the early 1800’s, including multiple compartments. The dark stained wood and handcrafted details reflected the tastes of the growing upper, middle class of that era.
